Jana Vitols, offers music and movement integrated learning experiences, utilizing the Dalcroze/Eurythmics approach, as a foundation for children’s musical development. While providing children foundational music skills, she also encourages them to discover their own creative identities. She present a variety of songs from the traditional canon of children’s music, enhanced by original melodies and multi-lingual works. Playing multiple string instruments and singing, she leads children in exploring sound, pitch, tonality, melody, meter, rhythm, tempo, dynamics, musicality, phrasing, patterns, and improvisation skills. She cultivates imaginative musical activities with creative movement, books, puppets, percussion instruments, and folk dances as teaching tools. These interactive classes provide a joyful experience for children to attain an understanding of the primary concepts inherent in music, while also discovering their own unique musical expression.
